Helping women feel confident in photos

For women who want to feel more like themselves
in front of the camera

"I'm not photogenic."
"I never know what to do."
"I hate having my photo taken."

I hear this all the time.

But what if the camera isn't the problem?

What if it could actually be part of the solution?

Confidence isn't about posing.

It's about feeling like yourself
in front of the camera.

I don't think the camera is the most important part of a photoshoot.

I think connection is.

Before becoming a photographer, I spent more than ten years working in human rights.

Looking back, I realise that what mattered then still matters now.

Listening.

Empathy.

Wanting to understand the person in front of me.

Because when someone feels seen...

Something shifts.

They stop worrying about the camera.

They relax.

They begin to look like themselves.

And that's when photographs start to feel like them.

You don't need to know what you're doing.

Or how to pose.

That's what I'm there for.

I only use natural light.  Partly because it's the most beautiful and flattering light – but also because being in front of a camera can feel daunting enough without lights shining in your face.

So there's no studio set-up.  No intimidating equipment.

Just me and my camera.

It's more like spending time with a girlfriend who happens to have a camera — relaxed, natural, and gently guided whenever you need it.

Whether you arrive nervous, excited, unsure – or somewhere in between –

I'll help you feel at ease every step of the way.

And by the end, I often hear:

"I was nervous at first.
Then I completely forgot about the camera!
"

The best photographs don't begin with a camera.

They begin with connection
