THE BLOG

My mother, Margit Levy, my maman, was a photographer.  She was an absolutely amazing photographer.  Maman was the most wonderful, loving, full of life, incredibly beautiful maman in the whole world.  There’s nothing that she loved more (well apart from champagne and Chateau Margaux and of course her three children) than to pick up her camera and photograph

We all know how hard this year has been and we’ve all been touched by Covid in one way or another.

So, in an effort to support independent shops and businesses, Muddy Stilettos, the UK’s biggest lifestyle site for fun-loving women outside London, has created The Indie Store.  It’s a shopping and gift space where gorgeous ‘indie businesses’ like mine can showcase their products.

The Indie Store is not a ‘shopping cart’ approach – it’s the opposite of buying in a giant shopping mall or doing a one-stop-shop from a single online giant.  It is all about small, carefully-curated businesses.

When Sophie from Muddy Stilettos and her gorgeous family came for a Christmas photo session on the farm. While the boys were throwing handfuls of snow and taking part in tickle fights, mum and dad visually relaxed to see them so happy. This offered the perfect opportunity to take some spectacular photos that they can enjoy for years to come – not forgetting that these photos will make gorgeous Christmas cards this year!

Children love roaming around the farm discovering animals, tractors and eggs!

All that fun and excitement makes for fantastic photos.  In fact, children usually forget the camera is even there – which is how I get such natural portraits!
