1. Where will the photo session take place?
My photo sessions take place at the location of your choice, in a familiar environment such as your home, garden or favourite park. No glaring studio lights, no posing, just a fun and relaxed photo session which produces natural and real portraits.
2. How long will the photo session take?
You should allow around one to two hours. This gives me time to get to know you and your family, helps everyone relax and enjoy the photo session.
3. What should I wear?
Newborns look best in their bare skin or a simple babygrow. Babies and children look great in bold colours and patterns. For grown ups, jeans and t-shirt are always a good combination, but if possible, try to avoid logos or anything that might date the photographs. But the most important is to be comfortable!
4. What about Bumps & Babies sessions?
Bumps and babies sessions usually take place in the comfort of your home. For bump photographs, I would recommend scheduling the session anytime after your 35th week. Newborns are at their best in the first two weeks but any time after is also good as they never stop changing!
5. What happens next?
Approximately a week after your photo session, all your photos will be available to view and order in your own password protected gallery on my website. There are no time limits on placing your order but there is a 10% discount if you order within one week of viewing your photographs.
6. How much does it cost?
The photo session fee starts at £60, depending on the location and the size of the group.
All photographs are professionally framed, with prices starting at £80 for a 5×7 framed photograph. The ‘best value’ products are the Photo-Books which start at £145 and include all the photographs from your session. This makes a great memento of your photo session and also makes a lovely present for grandparents!
I specialize in ‘Photo Montages’ – a multi aperture frame with up to nine of your favourite images. Photo Montages start at £270 and work especially well with babies, children and families as the variety of images capture lots of different expressions and poses all in one frame.
